The Government Doesn't Have the Right to Track Our Phone.

In Ms. Ramos blog she asked "Is it right for the Government to track our phones?" The 4th amendment clearly protects people from unreasonable searches by the government, unless the government has a warrant. So unless you have a warrant the government shouldn't be tracking your phone. Tracking you phone just because you wanted to go visit someplace out of the United States, doesn't give the government the right to track your every move. You do have the right of privacy, so I believe the government doesn't have the right to track our phones.

Same-sex Marriages...Make it Legal!

Gay marriages first became legal in Massachusetts on May 17, 2004 after that 15 more states have legalized gay marriages. Texas along with 33 other states still refuse to legalize gay marriages. I believe that Texas should legalizes gay marriages. The government shouldn't have the power to tell you who you can or can not marry, after all people can't help who they love. If a guy wants to marry another guy or vise versa, and they truly love each other then the government shouldn't stop them from being happy. What is going to happen if same-sex marriages were legal?

According to Freedom to Marry the government hasn't given gay marriages the same benefits as normal marriages, which in my opinion is bullshit. After all they're like a normal marriage just of the same sex. But the government denied them benefits that a normal marriage would have like with their health, debts, divorce, housing, insurance and so forth.

People have made such a big deal about other states legalizing gay marriages, just because some people want to marry the same sex people doesn't mean we should treat them any differently then a normal person. After all they are still humans like you and me. Some people believe that it's a slippery slope and could lead to people to want to marry their dog. I believe that if people want to marry their dog go for it, it might be really weird but the United State is a free country. Which I think should mean the freedom to marry anyone you want in whatever state you live in. Homosexuals in Texas shouldn't have to leave their home just to get married.

The Governnent Doesn't Have the Power To Tell Us Who We Can Marry.

In Crystal Reese's blog she says " I don't agree on the government having the power to control how two people are approved or not approved." I totally agree with Ms. Reese, I don't believe the government should have the right to tell a person that they can't get married just because they are the same sexes. I don't remember anywhere in the constitution that says we can't have gay marriages. If you really love someone which is the same sex as you then nothing should stop y'all from being happy with each other and getting married. After all gays and lesbians are still humans, they still are Americans like everyone else, so they shouldn't be kept from being with the person they love.

Should we Impeach President Obama....I say Yes!!

In the past 4 1/2 years that the United States has been transformed into one of the most corrupted nation ever, and it's all because of one man. President Obama is corrupt, he has almost bled our nation dry, he should be impeached and removed from office.

One reason for impeaching Obama is that over the past 4 1/2 years Obama has been promoting  "ObamaCare" but in fact he has inflicted the nation with over 20,000 pages of incoherent rules, regulations, and mandates. Which gave the federal government, for the first time in history, the power to force us citizens to buy something that we don't want and only the government approves of.

Obama has humiliated the US, he has harmed our relationship with our ally, Great Britain, by sending an official U.S. delegate to socialist dictator, Huge Chavez's funeral. But he never sent anyone to the great former British Prime Minister's funeral.

He has also torn and divided our country, which hasn't happened since the Civil War. He has pitted gay people against straight people, men against women. He has also caused racial strife by labeling people that disagree with his USSR-style of governance as a "racist."

He has wasted around $850 billlion dollars on a plan that was supposed to help advanced the stage where laborers may immediately be employed to begin work also called "shovel-ready." But later on Obama admitted that there was no such thing as "shovel-ready" jobs.

President Obama has unconstitutionally attacked our scared freedom of religion, a God-given right guaranteed by our founding father in the First Amendment. Our country is called the "free" country and now Obama is trying to take that away from us.

Obama is one of the most corrupt president we have ever had, these are only a few examples of what he has done to our country, tearing this country apart, bypassing Congress, just destroying this country of ours. Obama has become a danger to America, something needs to be done before he burns this country our founding fathers made to the ground. President Obama should be impeached and removed from office so America can stay alive.

Things Aren't Back to Normal....

Bryce Covert and Alan Pyke wrote an article on Think Progress on October 10, 2013. The title of the article is: Not Everything Is Back To Normal Now That The Shutdown Is Over. The authors intended audience I believe is America, to let us know that even though the government has reopened the national parks, furloughed employees went back to work, and federal money started flowing back into different programs, a lot of people and businesses are still suffering from the shutdown.

Many of the small businesses were hurt pretty bad during the shutdown and now some of the side effects are taking it's toll. LaJuanna Russell, president of consultancy Business Management Associates Inc, is considered about the work being backed up now because the business was closed down for the shutdown. Now there is more work to get done but LaJuanna doesn't have the money to pay her employees to work overtime. So she'll have to try and get all the extra work done in the time frame she has, which will be very difficult. But the biggest impact is the delayed payments on invoices, which means less money to spend and she didn't have a lot of money to spend in the first place before the shutdown.

Other small businesses owners who have been waiting on loans from the Small Business Administration may also have to wait around and do nothing for a little while longer. The backlog of all the applications that were put on hold while the government was shut down may take up too six weeks or more to work through.

Also at NASA several of the scientist's experiments had to be put on hold which now means that they have to start all their research all over again. Lee Stone a research for NASA had to stop his research with the Ames Research Center 20-g centrifuge, and now he is afraid that the opportunity many have all ready pasted for him to find good research.

Several other people have or are still suffering from the shutdown. Some people that were laid off are now living day to day hoping to have enough to survive. So even though the government is on and running now, people still feel the effects of it being shut off for several weeks. The authors believe that the government hurt more then it helped with the shutdown. They lost billions of dollars by shutting it off and closing a lot of businesses, now people are trying to make up for the weeks that they were unable to do anything, that will be a huge challenge.

There is Nothing to Show for the Government Shutdown

On Monday, October 7, 2013 a article was published by: Editorial Board on Washington Post titled:"The House GOP has nothing to show for its government shutdown" This article is very interesting and a lot of people are wondering what the government has to show for the shutdown. Not much according to the Editorial Board. "Damage the livelihood of millions of Americans? Check. Government secretaries, food-truck operators, cleaners who work in motels near national parks: They’re all hurting.

The intended audience for this article it the people. The Editorial Board is letting the people know that the government hasn't shown any improvements since they started shutting down our government a little over a week ago.

In stead of helping the budget problem the Editorial Board believes that the government is just wasting and losing a ton of money. Wasting billions of taxpayer dollars on shutting down agencies, websites, and parks. It will cost a lot more to just reopen the stuff they have decided to close. Also the Editorial Board says another problem it that the House voted to pay the salaries of thousands of employees that have been ordered not to work. That's a lot of money that the government just gave to people who aren't even working right now.

Another thing that the Editorial Board wrote, the shut down has interfered with key government operations. The National Transportation Safety Board can't look into accidents right now of a death of a worker who lost his life working on Metro's Red Line, this could make accidents in the future more likely. Also Our U.S allies from Tokyo are wondering wither or not they can rely on us when our president went AWOL from they're summit meeting in their region, it was a very important summit too.

This article has a lot of great information there is also several other articles that are tagged into this article that does support this article really well.

The conclusion for this article is very clear. That sooner or later if this government shutdown continues people will start getting angry. The people are already blamed Obama and The House but if this gets worst the people might start blame anyone who might have had a hand in this shutdown. "Americans could end up blaming everyone who seems to have a hand in this mess." The writer wrote what the the House should do if they want to keep this mess from getting worst. "A temporary extension of the debt ceiling, a reopening of the government and a commitment to engage in a process that leads to budget and tax reform." The last point the Editorial Board makes is if the House doesn't do something soon they could destroy our country.

China, Russia, Iran have advanced their Undersea Warfare.

On Friday, September 13, 2013, The Washington Free Beacon published an article titled: Declining Power: Admiral: U.S submarine forces decline as forces of China, Russia, Iran advance undersea warfare capabilities. Adm. Richard Breckenridge, director of Navy undersea warfare programs, tells at a hearing that China, Russia, and Iran have all increased their undersea warfare capabilities. While the U.S navy is cutting our submarine force by 30 percent. The U.S still has a lead  over Russia as of right now, but Adm. Breckenridge tells the House Armed Service seapower subcommittee that unless we do something we won't have that lead for much longer.

We can't just sit around and wait until China, Russia, and Iran have substantially more undersea warfare capabilities then the U.S. China's submarines and missile capability have advanced in numbers. Also, both China and Russia have been building and equipping new guided missiles and adding new submarines to their fleet.

The U.S submarine level in submarines is substantially lower then the Chinese. If we went to war with China right now we would be brutally out gunned in the water. So, to prevent a worse decline of undersea warfare the U.S Navy has four priorities for its submarine strategy. As Adm. Breckenridge said. “There is no allowance for any further delay.”
